CULTURAL DNA TRANSFORMATION TO TAKE CENTER STAGE AT CMO SUMMIT

Brand Leaders from Juniper Networks, Denny's Restaurants, Taleo and Franke to Discuss Corporate Dedication to Customer Experience and Change Management

PALO ALTO, Calif (Oct. 27, 2010) – Chief marketing executives of Juniper Networks, Denny's Restaurants, and Taleo, a global talent management solutions leader, will lead the inaugural panel discussion of the CMO Council's ninth annual CMO Summit to be held in San Jose on December 9, 2010. The theme of this year's gathering of chief marketing officers is "Synchronizing the C-Suite."

The session will feature a keynote presentation by General Manager of Franke Kitchen Systems, Charles Lawrence, who has led a significant transformational program to increase "Market Sense-Ability" in his organization with the aim of becoming more agile, customer responsive and market sensitive. He will share insights on the collaborative journey with other C-level executives in helping to transform the cultural DNA of a company with strong European roots and a product-centered mindset. Joining Lawrence will be Lauren Flaherty, CMO of Juniper, Shail Khiyara, CMO of Taleo, and Frances Allen, Chief Marketing Officer of Denny's Restaurants.

The executive panel entitled Shared Vision, Values and Cultural DNA During Transformational Times will focus on need for senior marketing leaders to unify and align all constituencies around a singular vision and value proposition that reinforces and radiates the essence of the brand.  Executive insights will be gathered from these brand leaders who have optimized and managed human asset engagement, motivation and buy-in to a shared value system and culture DNA.

The CMO Summit will gather keynote speakers and panelists from across the C-Suite to share in their experiences, insights and best practices for optimizing three key areas of collaboration: Customer Experience, Marketing Effectiveness and Operational Efficiency.  The full-day event will include keynote addresses from C-Suite leaders who will shed light on the needs and requirements of senior management and boards on today's CMO; panelists and speakers from across finance, IT, compliance, legal, sales, customer service and operations will discuss their needs and requirements and best practices in collaboration and alignment.
